This is a simple of list of organisations that offer students their 100 placements hours. View these much like getting a job. You will need to apply to them and go through an interview process.

- CASY – Will need additional Children’s Course to work here
- Bearded Fisherman
- YMCA Lincoln
- GP Surgeries in your area
- Churches sometimes have counselling services

If you are going to work with children it is advised that you study the Children’s Counselling Course. And please also note that working with Children only accounts for 50% of the required hours to become a member of the ISPC or BACP. The other 50% of the hours will need to come from Adult Counselling Services.
It is also a requirement to be a member of a Membership Body such as the ISPC or BACP the majority of the hours must be conducted face to face. These bodies are accepting now that some hours are conducted online via Video Call.
